Befriending Our Mortality

By registering for this online group program, you acknowledge that you have read, understood and agreed to the following terms and conditions.

1. Nature of the Program

  • Befriending our Mortality is an educational, reflective and experiential online group process exploring themes of mortality, meaning and aliveness through participation in an online course titled The Deep End, which was developed by end-of-life doula Chloe Hope.

  • This offering is intended to support personal reflection, dialogue and learning. It does not constitute psychotherapy, counselling, medical treatment, psychiatric care, crisis support, or any other form of healthcare or professional therapeutic service. Participation in the program does not create a doctor-patient, therapist-client or any kind of counselling relationship with Dr. Maria Christodoulou.

  • You remain fully responsible for your own physical, mental, emotional and psychological well-being, and for any choices, actions or decisions arising from your participation in the program.

  • If you are currently experiencing significant mental health difficulties or are under the care of a mental health professional, you are encouraged to seek appropriate professional support and to consider whether this group process is suitable for you at this time.

2. Program Structure

  • The program includes:

  • Lifetime access to The Deep End online course created by Chloe Hope

  • Eight (8) live online group sessions facilitated via Zoom

  • Guided reflection, dialogue, embodiment practices and mini-constellations where appropriate

  • Group session dates and times will be communicated via email upon registration and before each session.

  • Live sessions will not be recorded.

3. Confidentiality & Group Participation

  • Participants agree to contribute to a respectful and supportive group environment.

  • While personal sharing within the group is always voluntary, participants are asked to maintain the confidentiality and privacy of other group members and not to disclose personal information shared during sessions outside the group space.

  • Absolute confidentiality cannot be guaranteed in an online group setting, and participants accept this limitation.

4. Fees & Refunds

  • The full program fee is payable in advance unless otherwise agreed.

  • Early bird pricing applies only to registrations completed before the advertised closing date.

  • Refunds are not available once the program has commenced. Should you withdraw before the start date, any refund granted will be at the sole discretion of Dr. Maria Christodoulou and may be subject to an administrative fee.

5. Intellectual Property

  • All course materials, recordings, practices and resources shared during the program are intended for personal use only.

  • Participants may not reproduce, distribute, share or commercially use any program materials without prior written permission.
